Invece di usare setup.exe per aggiornare cygwin, si può usare uno script python, che fornisce funzionalità simili ad apt-get.
Prerequisiti
Installare il pacchetto python con setup.exe
Installazione e configurazione di ctg-apt
Dal prompt di cygwin:
wget http://www.lilypond.org/~janneke/software/cyg-apt chmod 755 cyg-apt mv cyg-apt /bin
Definire l'alias per settare il mirror corretto:
cat >> ~/.bashrc <<EOFile alias cyg-apt='cyg-apt --mirror=http://mirror.switch.ch/ftp/mirror/cygwin/' EOFile . ~/.bashrc
Effettuare il setup:
cyg-apt setup
Utilizzo di cyg-apt
- Update lista pacchetti
cyg-apt update
- Upgrade dei pacchetti
cyg-apt upgrade
- Installazione pacchetti
cyg-apt install nomepacchetto
- Rimozione pacchetti
cyg-apt remove nomepacchetto
- Per ottenere l'help:
cyg-apt
