Se amcheck fallisce con l'errore: 

 su backup /usr/sbin/amcheck DailySet1

Verificare la presenza del link 

ls /var/backups/.amandahosts
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root 16 May  3 14:15 /var/backups/.amandahosts -> /etc/amandahosts

In mancanza di ciò, crearelo: 

cd /var/backups/
ln -s /etc/amandahosts .amandahosts
