Spostamento del Database di Exchange

Exchange 2003

Non occorre backuppare ne fermare manualmente nulla. L'operazione è eseguita utilizzando l'appositta funzione dell'interfaccia di amministrazione di Exchange.

Spostamento file di Log

Start Exchange System Manager.

Locate the Administrative Group.

Open the properties on the Storage Group for which you want to change log file paths

                \_NOMESERVER
                     \_primo gruppo di archiviazione

On the General tab, change the

Transaction Log Location

by clicking Browse, and then specifying a new drive or directory location for the log files.

Verrà interrotto il servizio di posta, i files verranno copiati, ed al termine verranno eliminati dalla posizione originale.

Spostamento DB

Start Exchange System Manager.

Locate the Administrative Group. Under the Storage Group, click the Mailbox or Public Folder Store that you want to change.

Open the properties on that store, and click the

Database tab

Choose a new location for the databases by clicking Browse, and specifying a new drive or directory location for the database files. With the databases, you can choose to move the Exchange Database (.edb file), Exchange Streaming Database (.stm file) or both.

Ripetere l'operazione per le caselle private vere e proprie

Impostrazione diritti filesystem=

• La cartella dove si sono spostati i files, deve avere permission

Administrators: Full Control
Authenticated Users: Read and Execute, List Folder Contents, Read
Creator Owner: None
Server Operators: Modify, Read and Execute, List Folder Contents, Read, Write
System: Full Control  

• Il disco in cui è presente questa cartella deve avere nelle permission:

System: Full Control  

Modificamento puntamento cartella

LA CARTELLA DI DEFAULT NON ANDREBBE CANCELLATA (VEDI RIFERIMENTI). MODIFICARE COMUNQUE QUANTO SEGUE.

• Aprire regedit alla chiave

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\ParametersSystem

• Se non presente, creare la chiave REG_SZ o modificarla, impostandola alla posizione della nuova cartella
